Jessica Beck has been tattooing professionally since 2015.

 

Growing up in the southwest suburbs of Chicago, Jessica’s love for music and art came at a very young age.  Raised by a musician in a working class family, Jessica’s aspirations for art were nurtured rather than discouraged.  Exceling with her artwork all throughout high school Jessica decided to further her education.  Graduating from Columbia College in Chicago with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in illustration... Jessica’s love for tattooing leads her into our shop.

 

Jessica was our first apprentice at Blue Collar Tattoo, starting with us only 1 month after opening.  Jessica had been in the industry for a handful years before joining up with us.  After apprenticing at a few shops and not being satisfied with the progress, she contacted us with an interest in learning.

 

Jessica completed her traditional 2 year apprenticeship in February of 2015.  Having paid her dues Jessica is now perfecting her craft.  Although a little “wet behind the ears”, Jessica is knocking it out of the park.  With the close scrutiny of her coworkers Jessica’s skills are surpassing all of our expectations.  Don’t let her inexperience dissuade you, Jessica will not disappoint.

 

Jessica is known for her very unique “girly” style.  With stylized color and quirky humor she has a knack for creating witty one-of-a-kind designs that will make your eyes open wide.  The sky is the limit with Jessica, stop by and challenge her, you will be amazed by the outcome.
